Recognizing the importance of political and distributive considerations in environmental policy-making, this programme, the first of its kind in Hong Kong, will draw on the expertise of faculty members to identify and remove hurdles in policy formulation and implementation. Particular attention will be given to issues which may enhance environmental protection and energy transition, such as pollution control, renewable energy development and climate mitigation. The programme will also provide timely commentaries on environmental issues and controversies and advice to the government.
